Montoya fumes at Schu's driving
By JAMES SHAW

Michael Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya have reignited their simmering feud after the German was accused of "stupid" driving in the San Marino Grand Prix yesterday.

Montoya ended up on the grass at Imola after the pair clashed on the first lap of the race - causing him to narrowly avoid a collision with team-mate Ralf Schumacher.

The Williams-BMW driver was furious with the move, and has called for world champion Schumacher to face punishment from the sport's governing body.

"I was on the outside and the next thing I see he's coming straight at me, hit me and put me on the grass," he raged.

"I'll be surprised of he gets away with it. It's up to the FIA really".

Montoya said that following last year's US Grand Prix, when a clash with Rubens Barrichello ended his title chances, the Ferrari driver's actions should be investigated - regardless of the German's standing in the sport.

"If he does that and gets away with it, I think it would be unfair".

"It doesn't matter if he drives for Ferrari, if he is called Michael Schumacher or anybody."

"You've got to be either blind or stupid not to see me," he added.

But Schumacher replied that he didn't see Montoya, and wasn't expecting him to be on the outside of the track following another move at the previous corner.

"First of all, I did not see him," he said.

"On the outside of the corner you usually lose ground, so I didn't expect him to be there".
