Contra Costa Times | 03/03/2004 | Trinidad unretires, eyes bout vs. Mosley

NEW YORK - Felix Trinidad ended his retirement Tuesday, and Shane Mosley could be his first opponent.

Promoter Don King said a fight is set with Mosley, provided Mosley wins his March 13 bout with Winky Wright in Las Vegas.

"I wasn't wrong when I retired. I just changed my mind," said Trinidad, 31, who won titles as a welterweight, junior middleweight and middleweight.

Trinidad (41-1) will fight as a middleweight. In his last bout, in May 2002, he stopped journeyman Hacine Cherifi.
